Some of my best memories are of hiking in the mountains near Glenwood Springs. My family and I always make sure to have cameras charged and at the ready to capture these moments as they arise but sometimes achieving the perfect photo requires going off trail. The wildflowers on this outing were stunning. We spent the day traversing fields of fuchsia and golden blossoms on our way to one of our favorite mountain lakes. My mom made sure to catch the flowers at their best angle in order to truly do the scene justice.
